Position: Preschool Teacher (Leadership Level)
📍 Location: 708 Rue Principale, Laval (QC) H7X 1E4
🕒 Schedule: 4- or 5-day salaried work week (32–40 hours/week)
💵 Salary: $25–$32/hour | $41,600–$66,560 annually (based on experience)
🌴 Vacation & PTO: Up to 6 weeks paid (based on experience and seniority)
Your Role as a Teacher-Leader
This is more than a teaching position—this is a leadership opportunity. In addition to your role in the classroom, you’ll have dedicated weekly office hours to collaborate with our HQ team and contribute to initiatives that shape the future of ADE.
Key Responsibilities
Implement developmentally appropriate, play-based curriculum aligned with ADE’s educational philosophy
Foster an organized, inspiring classroom that reflects Reggio Emilia values
Facilitate daily routines and lead small group skill-building workshops
Collaborate with teammates and center leadership to maintain a nurturing, inclusive learning environment
Document learning and communicate with families through Brightwheel
Participate in professional development, team planning, and network-wide projects
Lead in one of the following key school-wide areas:
Curriculum & Workshop Implementation
Environment & Materials Design
Family Engagement & Events
Mentorship & Onboarding
Documentation & Communication
Wellness & Team Culture
What You Bring
Recognized diploma (DEC, AEC, or equivalent) in Early Childhood Education
MFA-recognized qualified educator status
5–10+ years of experience in a preschool setting
Strong classroom management and inclusive education practices
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills
First aid certification (8-hour daycare-specific course)
Police background check for vulnerable populations
Bilingual in English and French (spoken/written)
